-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 19:23
maybe ill look into it. it wont be done for a bit. the kit is 800, and ill have 400 by the end of the summer assuming i dont spend any. no wait, 500. then ill have to save up. should be done around x-mas time

-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 19:19
but if the stinky has a 150mm rear end, ill have to get the kit with the singletracks

-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 19:12
lol. you know why? because if you look into the site, they sell stinky frames. and all the parts in that kit are stock stinky parts. so im guessing they just stripped a stinky down and selling the frame and parts seperate

-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 19:08
stock for a bit.
i haven't riden it, because its naked. so i dont know if i need to get a lighter spring

-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 19:01
yeah. for some reason i love the design. the front end looks exactly like my escape did, so hopefully it will ride like my escape, only be more plush im buying a build kit from wheelworld. s-types and stuff. but it comes with a drop off triple. oh well the drop off shouldn't be so bad.

-jumpstyle- wrote
July 30, 2008 at 18:57
yup. im keeping my p2 for dj, but a frame from the xtreme series is my dream dual suspension frame for some reason

luli79 wrote
July 29, 2008 at 19:58
Yeah, my riding buddies are XC guys so I hike while they do their thing and I ride and have to wait for them on the way down!

230lbs oops!

luli79 wrote
July 29, 2008 at 18:51
I weigh 203lbs without any gear; so it doesn't take much. The second Fox I upgraded to a 600lbs spring too! All I do is rail some gnarly singletrack and do a little DH not much else.

luli79 wrote

No, I'm being conservative on what I am stating I've spent. It probably is well more than that because I break everything. I now have a 5th Element shock on it. Blew a Fox Air shock and 2 VanR coils. So, I have no clue at this point what exactly I've spent.

luli79 wrote
July 29, 2008 at 15:08
I built it from the ground up, so probably around $2000 or so. I'm being conservative.

luli79 wrote
July 29, 2008 at 11:35
Thanks, I've changed some stuff since those pics, pedals are now M3 clipless, the seat is now a T.H.E. DH seat on a Sette Ryde Adjustable seatpost. At some point my Heim 3ring Chainguide will be here and that will go on too! Nice Glory BTW.

RPereira wrote
July 27, 2008 at 9:02
Oh in that case I understand you completely. My brother wouldn´t be here if it wasn´t for his helmet. On our favourite trail there´s a step down/step up you see. This was a long time ago... Near the step up ramp there is a tree and you come off the step down carrying quite a lot of speed... Well, when he landed the step down, he ran over a puddle of water and slided to the left face burst into the tree. The forks were bent and he lost his memory for 2 days. Now he remembers everything else but that day. We´ve got it on video...
